I cant get this laptop to boot to the hard drive. It was working up unti l I tried to up grade the ram from 2 to 4 gigs & from a 120 gig hard drive to a 250 gig hard drive. So now when I turn on my laptop I get the flashing folder with the question mark. My gain is your loss. especially if you can fix it.

From what I read, I believe the Dell Mini 10v is the only system that you can install Mac OS X and configure everything to function properly (wifi, webcam, speakers, bluetooth, memory card reader, etc).

Still under Dell Warranty for 6 months!!! I purchased the laptop about 6 months ago, but did not use it for the first couple of months as I was still using my old laptop. Then I decided to have it upgraded to a dual boot system before using it which took a few weeks. I have only used this laptop for less than 3 months. iMac 24inch all in one desktop computer. In PERFECT Condition. It has Snow Leopard OS (And Disc), which I had installed when I got it April 9th.
It has the FULL SIZE NORMAL Keyboard, not the mini or flat, with the numeric keypad on the right. It as has the magnetic remote control for the computer as well.

This particular computer was purchased by one of my clients. They bought a group of computers and this one got set up for an new employee, who ended up not using it (Terminated)… So they covered it and it set unused. I’ve had it since April 9th. As much as I love it.. I just can’t make it work properly with MY work software Some of the function keys, even in the Window Boot Camp mode, don’t send the same info to our HQ software, and currently there is no work around.

The iMac is in EXCELLENT physical condition. It looks brand new and comes with keyboard, mouse, cables, all CD’s, manuals, original box, and even packing material.
There is a booting problem though. Sometimes it does not boot up and gets stuck on the gray boot screen, sometimes it does boot, and sometimes it gets weird lines on the screen.

I took it to Best Buy and geek squad said that it “needed a $10 part” but labor would be a lot more, but wouldn’t go into detail without having me pay them.
I ended up buying a new iMac and that is why I am selling it because I am don’t have the know-how to fix this problem.
